Technique: Hand-turned potter's wheel, wipe-on lacquer
Materials: Tochigi wood, copper, persimmon tannin, raw lacquer (natural)

This piece intentionally leaves the edges of the sawn lumber intact, showcasing the marks left by the lathe and the natural form of the wood itself.

Finished in a charcoal black, it brings out the rawness and tranquility of the material.
